They just can’t stand when trends leave them behind. Some of them come out against social networking, while others try to get in on the action. They can’t decide whether to try to beat ‘em or join ‘em.
Oh, BTW BlackSun, although I agree… the sweeping judgment on the church was done with bad reasoning. All you’ve done is point out the fact that there are two typical responses to social networking resist ‘em or join ‘em (a third is to ignore ‘em). But it is lazy to make it a “those silly religious freaks” type of behavior – teachers, politicians, and others have “come out against social networking” and they also aren’t they only one’s who are left behind (no pun intended) by trends. I suggest being more creative when bashing the Godly (like quoting Deuteronomy 22:20-21 or Leviticus 20:10 when they throw around verses on homosexuality). Intellectual critique against absolute truth is the only critique that should be tolerated – the rest is just whining.
I think religion is a scam, but when they try to act cool, putting out those sorts of advertisment, they just make themselves laughable.
Of course IGNORE.
If possíble BAN.
You do realize you look kinda idiotic playing along with what is at best a lousy illustration of God’s love for mankind. He gives you choice and you have chosen. It’s funny how well that stupid church marquee has touched your soul and given action to what’s in your heart. As far as St. Giles Presbyterian is concerned it’s mission accomplished. Thanks for playing…
Hahahahahaha! So good.
